Our Product Planning
Here we present a comprehensive view of our full product roadmap—from the past to the present and into the future—clearly indicating the current completion status or planned progress for each project.
Status Description
Micro App Framework
Progress status: Completed
As the underlying core of the system, the micro-app framework is the cornerstone of NoneOS.
Encapsulate complex modules into independent, autonomous units that support self-contained operation and evolution.
Even "monolithic applications" (traditional monolithic architectures with highly centralized functions, tight coupling, difficult maintenance, and weak scalability) can be broken down into lightweight modules, flexibly combined to build an efficient and scalable system.
System Component Library
Progress status: Completed
A micro-app-based UI component library that covers input boxes, pop-ups, etc., serving as the core foundation of OS interaction.
File system
Progress status: Completed
File-compatibility layer in the browser environment, simulating file storage, serves as the foundation for the system to run.
Virtual Server
Progress status: Completed
A file-system-based local virtual server that handles web requests, facilitating development and testing.
File Manager
Progress status: Completed
System starts up the core application, supporting basic operations such as copy, paste, and cut.
Use the device interconnection feature to achieve basic NAS sharing and management.
User Mechanism
Progress status: Completed
Supports initializing user IDs, generating keys, and modifying usernames, providing a foundation for data interoperability and information queries.
Private Device Interconnection
Progress status: Completed
Exchange device IDs and bind accounts to enable data interoperability. After identity verification, secure peer-to-peer data transfer will be used.
Text Preview
Progress status: Completed
A concise text viewing and editing tool, designed specifically for debugging application file states, supporting rapid viewing and modification of local virtual file contents.
Image Preview
Progress status: Completed
Basic image viewer, tests system default application logic, supports basic viewing.
Future editing capabilities will be expanded and support for third-party app calls will be added to enhance the user experience.
No-Feel Database
Progress:Completed
Designed for app development, it automatically syncs and exchanges data—no manual storage or sending required—so developers can focus on data presentation.
Share favorite web pages
Progress status: Completed
Similar to a bookmark, it displays content directly, is simple and easy to use, designed for testing data interoperability, with minimal code and high practicality.
Knowledge Management App
Progress status:Completed
A powerful note-taking app built on rich APIs, offering an experience comparable to Notion and Evernote.
Core foundational applications support content creation and multi-app integration, reducing third-party development costs while meeting enterprises’ need for deployment-free, private office solutions.
Unified AI API
Progress status: Completed
Integrated AI interface list; developers can directly integrate a variety of AI services, and users can choose AI services independently.
Documentation
Progress status: Completed
Write user guides with a knowledge management app that supports multilingual content translation and enhances the experience.
WarpSend
Progress status: Completed
A file transfer application developed based on NoneOS's decentralized interface, supporting secure, efficient, peer-to-peer file transmission, seamlessly integrating private device interoperability and user authentication mechanisms.
Developer Documentation
Progress status:In progress
Use a knowledge management application to write development tutorials and help developers quickly build custom applications.
The system is open-source and free, requires no maintenance costs, and supports interoperability, which will unleash the creativity of the open-source community.
Video player
Progress status: Not started
Simple and easy to use, supports local playback and third-party invocation, providing a smooth viewing experience.
In the future, features such as bullet comments, subtitle editing, and audio track switching will be added.
Organization data interoperability
Progress status: Not started
Supports users in creating organizations, enabling data interoperability within the organization—a semi-public version for personal device interoperability.
Support building company management applications such as ERP, attendance tracking, ledger management, and middle-office systems.
Task Manager
Progress status: Under consideration
Leveraging data interoperability between organizations to create a simple and efficient task assignment solution.
A test application for validating organizational data interoperability, but the market already has many similar tools; it is still in the evaluation and consideration phase.
Relay server
Progress status: Not started
Introduce a centralized relay server to reduce latency and improve connectivity in unstable scenarios, with full data encryption; supports concurrent peer-to-peer and relay modes, enabling intelligent scheduling and efficient collaboration.
Global Data Interoperability
Progress status: Not started
Fully open user-to-user data access is extremely challenging.
Web Content Preview
Progress status: Not started
After full opening, a web content preview panel is provided as a "browser" within the virtual system.
Content Swapping Algorithm
Progress status: Not Started
In the face of massive and complex information, the core task is to accurately filter the data users need.
Decentralized SNS Platform
Progress status: Not started
A decentralized SNS platform built on the NoneOS decentralized architecture, where everyone can freely publish and share content.
Decentralized Points System
Progress status: Not started
Based on a decentralized architecture, we create a personalized points system for every user, and through this points mechanism precisely recommend content that matches their interests, enabling smarter and more considerate information distribution.
Ad Distribution Dashboard
Progress status: Not started
Built on a micro-component architecture, the advertising and points systems are linked: eligible users can accept advertising components as tasks, earn points by watching ads upon completion, and achieve a lightweight distribution and incentive loop.
NoneOS Standalone Client
Progress status: Not started
Discard browser dependencies and run as a standalone application on a real system, supporting offline installation and deployment.
Supports seamless migration of applications from virtual environments to real systems for direct execution, similar to Flash/Air and Silverlight.
More
Decentralized Gaming
Progress Status: Under Consideration
A decentralized gaming ecosystem built on NoneOS that allows players to enjoy low-latency, highly responsive multiplayer battles without relying on costly central servers. Games run on a collaborative architecture of local devices and lightweight nodes, staying online continuously and never going down—truly delivering an immersive interactive experience where “everyone can play and the servers never shut off.”
Points Exchange Market
Progress status: Under consideration
Open points exchange freely for users, build a transparent, efficient, and decentralized points-exchange market, and achieve autonomous, controllable, fair, and transparent content distribution and acquisition. Users or merchants must apply for and obtain the relevant license before activation.
Points Mall App
Progress status: Under consideration
Build a closed-loop payment system based on a points system, creating a points mall that supports both physical and virtual goods and offers users flexible and convenient ways to spend and redeem points. Users or merchants must apply for and obtain the relevant license before activation.
IoT Mode
Progress status: Not started
Enable the MCU to support the NoneOS low-level mode, enabling direct data interaction with smart home devices; devices can connect directly without a central server, so a network outage will no longer cause smart home disconnections.
